A BILL making a supplementary appropriation of public moneys out of
the Treasury from the balance of moneys remaining as an
unappropriated surplus balance in the State Fund, General
Revenue, to the Bureau of Senior Services, fund 0420, fiscal
year 2010, organization 0508, by supplementing and amending
the appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.
WHEREAS, The Governor submitted to the Legislature a Statement
of the State Fund, General Revenue, dated August 10, 2009, setting
forth therein the cash balance as of July 1, 2009, and further
included the estimate of revenues for the fiscal year 2010, less
net appropriation balances forwarded and regular appropriations for
the fiscal year 2010; and
WHEREAS, It appears from the Statement of the State Fund,
General Revenue, there now remains an unappropriated surplus
balance in the State Treasury which is available for appropriation
during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010; therefore
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the total appropriation for the fiscal year ending June
30, 2010, to fund 4020, fiscal year 2010, organization 0508, be
supplemented and amended by adding an item of appropriation as
follows:

The above appropriation shall be transferred to the Division
of Human Services for Health Care and Title XIX Waiver for Senior
Citizens and shall be used along with the federal moneys generated
thereby for reimbursement for services provided under the program.
The purpose of this supplemental appropriation bill is to
supplement, amend, and add an item of appropriation in the
aforesaid account for the designated spending unit for expenditure
during the fiscal year 2010.
